Progressive Lenses: Wish You Could See Your Feet?

Ever wish you could see your feet when stepping off the curb when you wear progressive lenses? Without having to bend your head down to see them. You can. D’Ambrosio Eye Care offers a lens design that offers all the ranges of vision that an ordinary progressive lens offers but then also adds a 4th zone of intermediate vision on the bottom portion of the lens called, “ground view advantage”. This lens is called the Essilor Definity lens.

The ability to see clearly when looking down has been linked to an increased risk of slips and falls. This ground view improves the way patients see when they are going up and down stairs, walking on uneven surfaces, or stepping off a curb. In a double-blind golf clinical study golfers preferred this lenses 7:1, why wouldn’t you want better vision to improve your game?
