Eye exams for children are important

D'Ambrosio Eye Care wants to promote eye health for children of all ages and adults.  We were invited by Leominster High School to participate in their Health Fair.  We brought our technicians to check the vision of students attending the fair.

It was a good reminder for many of the students to bring their eyeglasses to school and, more importantly, to wear them!  With the terrific frames available today, wearing eyeglasses can be cool AND functional!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For both men and women, it is important to get regular screening tests as it increases the chances that if you do develop breast cancer it will be found early when it’s most treatable.

Fundraising for Heifer International

D'Ambrosio Eye Care is supporting the efforts of Heifer® International.  Our goal is $1500...

Heifer envisions…
A world of communities living together in peace and equitably sharing the resources of a healthy planet.

Heifer’s mission is…
To work with communities to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth.

Heifer's strategy is…
To “pass on the gift.” As people share their animals’ offspring with others – along with their knowledge, resources, and skills – an expanding network of hope, dignity, and self-reliance is created that reaches around the globe.

Heifer’s History...
This simple idea of giving families a source of food rather than short-term relief caught on and has continued for over 60 years. Today, millions of families in 128 countries have been given the gifts of self-reliance and hope.
